Please join us in showing support for our local Maker movement by sponsoring a Mini Maker Faire in Pleasant Prairie, WI this November

Pleasant Prairie, WI – September 7, 2016 – group of local business leaders, educators, individual makers, business support groups, and municipal employees are teaming up to host the Pleasant Prairie Mini Maker Faire on November 26, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Pleasant Prairie RecPlex.

The Pleasant Prairie Mini Maker Faire is a family-friendly showcase of invention, creativity and resourcefulness, and a celebration of the Maker movement. It’s a place where people show what they are making, and share what they are learning. Makers range from tech enthusiasts to crafters to homesteaders to scientists to garage tinkerers. They are of all ages and backgrounds.

Our goal is to spark local conversations about what people are making, why they’re making it, how they’re making it, and to get people of all ages excited about Making in general. Our hope is that the Pleasant Prairie Mini Maker Faire forms connections between Makers and attendees that: inspire entrepreneurial ideas, inspire young people to become the next generation of Makers, and shows how far creative thinking can take a community.

The Pleasant Prairie Mini Maker Faire team is seeking sponsors at any and all levels, including in-kind sponsors who may wish to provide a hands on workshop at the event or related materials. Those interested in more information related to event sponsorship are asked to visit or to email the team at The team would like to thank you so much for any support you can provide.
